The Staff

Eric Lee, Pastor

Eric and Jessica have three children and moved to Bartow County in the summer of 2008. They are native Georgians, big Georgia Bulldog fans, avid tennis players, and want to see the church make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Eric is a graduate of the University of Georgia (UGA) and spent five years in real estate-related tax consulting before becoming a pastor.  He's a little on the "Nerdy" side.  Eric served for 6 years as an assistant pastor at Varnell UMC and graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity (MDiv.) in 2007.

Eric  “I grew up in the church and learned a lot about God and Jesus. When I was in my early twenties, I started getting to know God personally and have been better off ever since.”

Michael Laycock, Worship Arts Leader

Michael grew up around the Woodstock area of Georgia, he currently lives in White, Georgia. Despite being in Georgia most of his life he is a huge Tennessee fan and sports fan in general. He started playing the violin when he was 10 years old then picked up the guitar when he was 15. He is now 22 and thrilled to be a part of the movement that is taking place at The Bridge.

Michael is a senior at Kennesaw State University working on his degree in Criminal Justice. He graduated from Kell High School. He admits that he is a big history nerd and an even bigger music nerd. He worked for 5 and a half years at the Chick-fil-A Dwarf House in Woodstock, interned with Water Missions International and most recently worked at Dick's Sporting Goods in Kennesaw.

Michael: "Music has always been the way I express myself and over the last few years it has become the way I worship more so than any other way. I am blessed to be a part of The Bridge and can't wait to see what happens next."
